The 2010 Occoquan Masters Sprints Regatta, Sunday, July 11 on the beautiful Occoquan Reservoir at Sandy Run Park, Lorton, Virginia. This is the site of the Virginia High School championships, with a full-buoyed 6-lane course, stake-boat starts, smooth water and a grandstand viewing area. Proceeds will help local high school rowing programs.
Entry Limitations: We suggest that no rower should plan to participate in events closer than 60 minutes apart. We plan to have all races start on time, and boats late to the start will not be allowed to race in different heats than scheduled.
The deadline for entries and waivers is July 2, or when 70 races have been created, or when the entry limit dictated by Sandy Run Park has been reached, whichever comes first. The Sandy Run Park entry limit is set based on number of trailers, as well as number of participants. We encourage you to sign up early.
